[FT] Rangers 1 (C. McGregor 70 o.g.) - 0 Celtic

Recommended Posts

Not at our best but after the red card (well done Morelos!) we relaxed a wee bit as Celtic started to panic.

For all their possession and dominance, they didn't look that dangerous inside the box with most of their efforts coming from longer range but McGregor certainly deserves immense credit for 3 or 4 brilliant saves in the first half.

To get the three points after such a poor display reminds me of so many 1990s matches where we went onto win the league. Let's hope that's the case here but a long, long way to go.

We've shown mental toughness today, we've snatched a victory when under pressure, a bit like they've done over last few seasons.

In hindsight, they should have had 2 players red carded, and after 30mins they've not looked like scoring.

We are now winning when not playing well or when up against different challenges - last season we weren't.

Points make Prizes

Couple of weeks back I posted "8 Games to Win a League"

4 Down,...4 to Go

10/01/21 PRE Aberdeen 16 : 00 Rangers
17/01/21 PRE Motherwell 13 : 00 Rangers
23/01/21 PRE Rangers 16 : 00 Ross County
27/01/21 PRE Hibernian 20 : 45 Rangers

The other point I'd make is that having played every club H & A, we've reached a point where an arguement could be made to call League if covid forced a decision.
