compo 5,952
I wonder if Donald's chums will try to disrupt the inauguration or even have a pop at old Joe
Bill 13,687
After 8 years of wars and grandstanding under Obama, the Congress of the United States has spent the last 4 years tying itself in tribal knots over Trump. Does anyone have confidence they might now go back to trying to improve their country? Or is the US now too far gone to do anything about its spiralling decline?

It didn't start, neither will it end, with Trump. Look at Biden's divisive rhetoric over recent days. He will just exacerbate existing divisions in American society. He won't arrest spending excess and neither will he deal with China. These are the real problems that the U.S.A. faces.
ChelseaBoy 2,196
The divisive rhetoric of the liberal media is also coming to the fore, much of it unhinged. Comparing a few thousand protesters who were wandering around getting selfies with Kristallnacht and describing them as Nazis is no way to heal a broken country. Do they think that Biden will have anything to say to the 75m voters who voted Trump? What have they got to lose as a Biden Govt will be no different from an Obama Govt and ignore them completely.
Bill 13,687
I don’t think it matters who is President. Whoever it is will only be either a compliant conduit or a hindrance for the warring tribes in and around congress to attack. A pragmatic country that only 30 years ago could look both inwards and outwards is now all but abandoned by a “leadership” consumed by ideological warfare. Multinational tech outfits dictate public opinion and traditional allies like the UK are going to have to start thinking how to escape the worst of the fallout.
