We need to put aside all title talk and focus on simply winning games.

Yes, the players definitely do.

Us mere fans though, we are allowed to dream and believe and count down the games we need to secure this most magnificent of titles and our most significant and important since 1987. With what we have been through in the last decade, we really need to enjoy this one, so no harm in counting our chickens at this stage (55 of them!)

It's 9 wins and a draw.

Ayem you are right... if you ignore goal difference possibly being overturned.....

This league will be won before the split IMO.  They are awful, they aren't playing for the manager - and the manager, despite his tough rhetoric, has chucked it - his tantrums are a worked ticket.

We 'only' need to win our nine remaining pre-split games to secure the title as the penultimate one of those games is against Celtic (20th March).

That would give us a total of 93pts whilst Celtic (even if they win their two games in hand), by losing against us, could only gain a maximum of 30pts, taking them to 76pts.

A draw in that match would leave a gap of 14pts ahead of the five post-split games.

The first post-split game will also likely be against Celtic unless the title has been secured already.

Thought this was interesting (h/t https://twitter.com/rossco_bear)

Probability of Rangers winning the league according to @FiveThirtyEight is now >99%. According to their models, there is a greater chance of Rangers winning the Europa League than not winning the title, for context.

Rubbish.

Stats can mean whatever you want them to mean. They're completely pointless.

This Americanisation of football is ruining the game!

Depends.  If we need any less than 4 points to win the title at the split (ie avoid defeat) then they wont have the OF that first game, unless lockdown is still in place, in which case they may as well
