Very poor first half there with walking football back in operation.  Only Itten can really say he's done a decent job whilst others can't see to get to grips with the very slow pitch.

 

Midfield in particular are struggling: Kamara not on the ball enough whilst Aribo and Zungu are hardly getting on the ball at all and are struggling to read the game as a Jack or Davis would.

 

I'd certainly bring on either of those two for Zungu as we need to get a hold of the ball, up the pace and use it a lot better in and around their box.

Credit to Hamilton by the way who are pressing us high and working very hard all across the pitch.  We need to match that effort and a lot more if we don't want to slip up in the snow.

Pretty much what you get on pitches like this. Kent is doing well but often far too deep. Too little control of the ball in midfield, too few options up front. Need Jack on for Aribo and Kent further forward.

Going by the high-balls and headers, they also don't like their pitch. First touches a wee bit off with some, Tav since his penalty miss somewhat off form, pass/cross- and free-kick-wise.

Our free kicks have in large part been woeful.

The problem is because Zungu is struggling, Kamara is having to sit deep which in turn makes Aribo, Hagi and Kent all have to come deep as well as the out ball into the channels isn't on.

 

We need Davis or Jack on to give the players a bit of trust in our defensive shape.
