if we win the league and with Lawwell standing down, it would be ideal opportunity for them to act with a greater position of strength than they may have had up until now.

I cant disagree. Just so frustrated this has continued.

A question for yourself @Bluedelland the forum. Does anyone know how much the CO or contract lawyers at the SFA get paid? Is it in their accounts?

It's the much-heralded Post Truth Era in all its stinking glory and I agree its definitely a change for the worse. It has essentially removed all trace of integrity from the equation of human values. This leaves people who still believe in decency and dignity at a distinct disadvantage and frustrated by their impotence. However the old adage still applies ... it's not describing the problem that counts but describing the solution ... and if there was one then better people than me would have described it long ago.

First, make the rules clearer, as currently there is a loophole of re-evaluating cards.

Second would be applying the rulebook to all games and all similar incidents. (How can a referee card a player, say why he did it and then change his mind?)

Third, if something goes in front of the CO and the 3 refs, the clubs in question should have people there (sporting director spings to mind) to make a point (if need be), ask questions as well as knowing the names of the three refs, and getting a written explanation about why any action is taken (not some rule mumbo-jumbo).

For starters. And that is not even difficult and should have been there from the start.

No, their accounts don't show that level of detail. The only thing of note is the highest paid director gets £171,000.

Those are not solutions. It's just a wish list with no means of ever being implemented.

My feeling is that we either bring in the travesty that is VAR (which no doubt will cause more controversy when our refs still make bad errors), or retrospective action is only used for off the ball incidents and dives. Re-refereeing every foul is just crazy.

Those may be decent proposals but rest assured "we" won't be bringing in anything because "we" don't control anything or anyone and the current setup suits those that do.

Life is governed by some very straightforward principles, the most basic of which is that those who have power do unto those who don't. The challenge isn't what to do with power but how to get it. This is a confusion that leads to enormous frustration and wasted energy.
