Might have been different if the Frenchman* had got sent off earlier last night or if the Welsh had kept a full team on for the last ten minutes. *In days gone by before I became woke and pc I might have put “Frog”. Jings. I’ve just done it. Poileas Alba will be at the door and here’s me with no Gaelic.

Wrap yourself in a tartan tablecloth (you're old enough to have received one as a wedding present,) and make sure The Corries are on the turntable. I have a habit of referring to the Welsh as 'The Druids'. See you in the Gulag.
Gribz 743
Im still kicking myself for the Wales match, that should and could have been wrapped up at half time. It would have put another dimension on the Ireland game. Very nearly there to being a good side. The South African guy is top notch - is it right he could play for the Lions though?

Scotland fielded a Kiwi, an Australian and two, maybe three Springboks. Not sure about Harris. He might be Australian. Watson was born in Manchester. A few more New Zealanders and some Samoans and right enough, Scotland will do well. We’ll have to sing about oor wee bit kop and veldt.
Scott7 5,009
Stunning victory for Scotland tonight, 23-27 to the Scotboks. Wins at Twickenham and in Paris. That doesn’t happen often. Shouldn’t grumble but a bit of common sense against Wales and a bit of luck against Ireland and it’s a Grand Slam.

Uilleam 5,278
Is it me, or is Mr Wayne Barnes the most egregious example of the current fashion for referees (and not just in rugby) to be attention seekers of the highest order? Mind you, the "commentator", Cotter, too, leaves a lot to be desired. Another who requires use of the mute button.
