Pretty below par fro us that 1st half, we need to up the pace/pressure 2nd half, we are always the same when we just knock the ball about easy, we really just need to pick up the pace here

Poor 45 mins but should have had a pen and St Johnstone should be down to 10men. Need to up our level of performance in 2nd half. We aren't the same team without Alfie but it may be worth taking him off as one team will not finish with 11 and id bet it will not be the team in yellow.

Only came on at roundabout 25 mins but it has been pretty dire so far. Sure, Saints don`t make it easy, but there is hardly and creativity or spark in the midfield, Aribo nigh-invisible, Hagi well pummelled all over the park, Morelos isolated and surrounded by 2 or 3. Not unexpected. 

 

Is that Craigan* constantly and relentlessly laying into our players, while the main commentator almost willing St. Johnstone to grab something. Nearly as pathetic as what unfolds on the field.

 

Wonder how long Alfredo will last, looks a bit tired, but also on a yellow and somehow "in the mood". If we do sub people, I hope Wright and Roofe come on quickly.

 

*Best comment: "Morelos needs to understand that not every contact in the area is a penalty." ... and we think back to these last two games where Griffiths "fell" and got a penalty and Saints in midweek just the same. Wonder what he would have said about that.

You should know by now, if any Rangers player makes that challenge they would have been off!

Felt we should have a penalty and Saints should have had a red card but generally we're not doing enough and are far too pedestrian.

 

Saints are doing a good job of getting men behind the ball and we're possibly moving it too slowly too often which makes it too easy for them. As such, it's not a coincidence we're look more dangerous on the counter where we move the ball a lot more effectively.

 

Good news is Kent looks dangerous and Morelos is up for the battle but we need more right through the team to break this stuffy side down.
