Cutchy77 0 Posted May 2, 2021 Share Posted May 2, 2021 If Stevie keeps sticking with his principles with his formation the best and cheapest answer to our option of a great creative box to box midfielder would be Tavernier allowing Paterson to play right back just like Rangers did with Hutton and Ricksen. Tav. has all the attributes as he has an engine that will get him up and down the park, he can dribble, he can pass, he can tackle, is good in the air, can score goals, knows what’s required defensively and can make late runs into the box plus he can score from distance. Perfect. As he is approaching 30 maybe get 2 or 3 years out of him in this position just when his contact will expire. I think this would solve a lot of our problems.
