Alfredo and Porto ... the latter usually buy low and sell high, rarely paid more than 15+m for anyone. If anything, we might sell him for 15m and place a hefty sell-on clause on his name.

 

Meanwhile, Osayi-Samuel is being valued at Euro 4-5m by Fenerbahce, quite natural, given that he`s got a contract till 2025.

That article also mentions four senior  strikers but we also have Fashion Sakala coming in too. If Borre is coming in I think either Roofe or Itten would got out the way

Well, IMHO Roofe and Itten are here and here to stay. Sakala can play across the front line and will have to adapt to the Scottish game. Whatever happens to Alfredo is everyone`s guess, and Defoe will be a player-coach and see not much more action than last year. And, after all, grabbing a Colombian striker can`t stay a domain of the Finnish teams, can it?! (There is some talk that he wants some silly money in wages and signing on fees though.)

rangers should be looking to speculate to accumulate here. we have a shot at the cl and Morelos should not be sold until we have failed or succeeded in qualifying. 

 

if we qualify and he is happy to stay we shouldn't be selling. 

 

of course their is risk in that and with no overdraft facility to speak of it could go wrong if no one is prepared to finance us short term.

This is a very difficult transfer window for Rangers to navigate, compounded by the complication of Euro2020 running well into July. With two qualifying rounds of the CL to negotiate it's imperative we have the players on board, ready and rested to do it .... but we'll find it hard to justify ambitious signings without first having the financial security of qualifying for the group stages. We might also find it difficult to attract the right players without knowing there's CL football to showcase their talents. If we get this right I think Ross Wilson will be due a raise.

I think SG would need to use his powers of persuasion to get Gilmour in! he would be a good addition to the team that's for sure.
