I've no idea what you're on about.

Going by the club's statement, they are in agreement.

The club statement was moving and in no way perfunctory.

I have just changed my mind about everything.

It's hardly news that we've got some neds and arseholes in our support. Turn up at Ibrox on a European night and you'll see them.

It's also hardly a surprise that there was some trouble at George Square caused by a small minority. That was predicted by many, as was the SNP's hypocrisy on the issue.

If anything, I'm surprised there wasn't more trouble and the police weren't more heavy-handed.

Last time I remember the police were criticised for giving the crowd an escort into the town. Now they stand back and are criticised. You can't win.

shame the trouble can't distance it's self from the club.........

With the huge following we have, it's inevitable that there'll be a percentage of people who can't behave well, particularly after a full day of drinking, months of lockdowns and some rather contradictory recent Tweets about gatherings made by politicians.

In a sane country, the inflammatory tweets by Sturgeon and Yousaf would lose them support. I think there must be SNP supporters that aren’t big fans of illegal immigration and don’t want to see officials threatened.
But it’s not really very sane just now is it ?

Yeah. Although I wasn't at either, it seems to me that both occasions were handled reasonably by the police, although those who were there may disagree.

Cults (sic) seldom are that sane.

It all seems orchestrated out of all proportion. Many thousands gathered with alcohol to celebrate. Some lost the plot as some always do. It’s what always happens and certainly isn’t unique to Rangers or football. We’ve seen the same and worse from BLM, Extinction Rebellion, pro-Palestine, anti-Trump, etc and all without the carefully coordinated statements being broadcast today.

I’m not excusing any violent behaviour and anyone involved in it should be prosecuted but neither do I accept the clearly choreographed condemnation I’ve seen today. There’s one set of standards for Rangers and another for everyone else - you know it, I know it, they know it.

I believe I see it for what it is and, while I’m annoyed by it, I’m neither surprised nor distracted from the club’s tremendous achievements.
