Dornans' Hate Speech

Dornan has written an article for The National about anti-Irish/Catholic problems in Scotland.  I won't add the link (for obvious reasons) but here's a wee snippet, to give you an idea:

"At no time did I accuse any staff or management of Lothian Buses of racism, bigotry or anti-Irish/Catholic behaviour. I explicitly made the point that the decision to cancel buses solely on St Patrick’s Day was made without considering the message for the Irish community of the implicit bias that too many people in Scotland still hold.

According to Police Scotland, 42% of religiously motivated hate crimes are committed against Roman Catholics. Adding to stereotypes by not taking consideration of communities in business decisions is a reckless one which reinforces existing beliefs.".

Printed in green ink, I presume....

So, Dornan is saying in his new article that he didn’t previously accuse the ‘buses of racism etc but he’ll do it now..

Thanks for the clarification, if you can call it that.

He also mentions Billy Fullerton joining the KKK and the Church of Scotland differentiating Irish RCs and Scottish RCs 100 years ago.

He really is an all guns blazing type of professional victim isn't he.

Did he mention Sean Russell?

General Eoin O'Duffy?

Nope.  He didn't mention pictures of him in front of Irish Republican flags either.

He did advise some of his constituents were 'frightened' by the video of our players singing Sweet Caroline.  ?

Not just the old CoS. In conversation with a chap the other day, he mentioned that he was a Scottish Catholic, with just a slight emphasis on Scottish. Known him for twenty years but never knew his religion. If he’d been a tim he’d have broadcast the fact within the first five minutes. Aberdeen supporter and pro-Union.

The signing was raucous, but surely not so bad as to be terrifying.

Was demonic possession involved? Speaking in tongues, certainly was,  woh -oh -oh being Beelzebub's way of insulting the Bishop of Rome.

Dornan is the SNP ‘s useful idiot.

Much of the traditional SLAB RC vote has switched to SNP, particularly in central Scotland.

And the SNP are quite happy to have Dornan go round creating sectarianism where none exists to retain their RC vote.

Thankfully there are still enough RC’s who can see thro this nonsense
