That was a really good showing from all chaps involved, even though Kelly`s nerves seem to get to him a little. If we can call on such a performance (and there was no Roofe or Morelos) in the coming weeks, we are in good stead for the start of the season.

 

Of course, Malmö / Helsinki are both well into their season by now too ...

Very, very happy with that.

 

Was a wee bit worried at half-time that we hadn't scored the goals our attacking play had merited but we finally took two chances after the break for a well deserved win.

 

We really did look very sharp but, to be fair, Real are very early into their pre-season so it wasn't a huge surprise to see us look a yard or two ahead of them at times.

 

Even so, we still had to do the business and throughout the team we did well with only the concession of a poor (though fortunate) opener cost us a more comprehensive result.

 

Now onto the proper stuff next week.

Excellent run out there, forget the result, we showed hunger! sharpness!. Sakala looked very good and scored a great goal. The strength of our squad is superb, everyone who came on did their job.

Looking good for the season ahead.

 

Also Davis was outstanding and shows he can continue despite his age.
