SNP - the madness continues

Recycling comes with its own massive carbon footprint. But no one talks about that.

While virtually all plastics can be recycled, many aren’t because the process is expensive, complicated and the resulting product is of lower quality than what you put in. The carbon-reduction benefits are also less clear. “You ship it around, then you have to wash it, then you have to chop it up, then you have to re-melt it, so the collection and recycling itself has its own environmental impact,”

Sounds like a reason for dispensing with most, if not all, plastics.

I got an electoral thing in the post today and it said 14 year olds can be registered to vote.

Is that actually going to happen!?

Only if they've had the full trans indoctrination course at school.

It's beyond depressing. Some of the least able people in society are given jobs for life in work that's fully unaccountable and they then decide without consultation what the rest of us will do. We run around like dogs performing the latest net zero green-as-can-be trick, for no practical purpose and likely achieving the opposite of what we set out to do. Like most of the save-the-planet hysteria, recycling has cost a fortune to implement and saved no part of the planet at all.
