Letter From Our Captain

Recommended Posts

I’m fully behind the captain, and anything that can be done to kick racism and racists out of football, and

indeed out of society in general, will get my support.

I’m disgusted with what I’ve read tonight on Twitter in response to the release of this letter. There are some with tickets for tomorrow who are intent on booing our players making an anti-racism gesture. Frankly they are no more Rangers fans, or human beings for that matter, than Nicola Sturgeon or Neil Lennon. I heard a handful of boos at the Real Madrid game in the Govan Rear but I couldn’t see anyone doing it.

The captain couldn’t have been clearer. It’s not politically motivated, it’s to try to get racism out of football and society. Nothing to do with BLM, just a message from our players that they kneel together against racism, which every true Rangers fan should fully support.

Life bans for any racists booing our players anti-racism gesture. No room for racists at Ibrox, go and support all our players or don’t go at all.

A shame he felt he needed to write it but it's clear so hopefully those that have an issue take their boos elsewhere tomorrow.

I'd go further, they can take their boos elsewhere period.

So we’ve gone from let’s not boo to anyone who boo’s is a racist. This sanctimonious shit is out of hand. What happened to live and let live? When did the thought police take over.?
