He has a much bigger prize in getting to fight Fury/Wilder, and that is in serious doubt now as he didn't look like he had any answers to Usyk.  Stranger things and all that, but I'm bored stiff hearing about AJ/Fury machinations.  The whole boxing governance thing is a joke - get the fights on that we all want to see, and quite the whining and preening.

Does AJ really want to fight Fury/Wilder?

Boxing’s a bit weird and has been since the creation of all the separate associations. All the between fight contract machinations and the weigh-in pantomimes are a bit like pavement dancing. The twelve rounds in the ring sometimes seem like a damp squib add-on.

Boxing - is it even really a sport, or simply scripted theatre that attracts the audience that justifies the media coverage and advertising to fill the pockets of those involved?

When a horse wins a race you can see the evidence on camera. When boxers compete, the result appears to be a lottery based on opinion and unverifiable judgement.

I'm neither for nor against it but boxing seems as far from a serious sport as it's possible to get.

let's  hope for a decent contest tonight between Fury and Wilder.

It's a pity we can't get a preview of the script to see who's turn it is to win.
