Hands up for the Labour party?

Recommended Posts

Surely the focus should be on the worth of the question, not the sex or skin colour of the person asking it.  Diversity of opinion should trump all else at a productive political conference.

The modern anti-racist is just as obsessed with skin colour as racists are.

The anti-racist is just about the only thing sustaining racism in this country. Like the Labour Party eradicating poverty, the anti-racist would be dead in the water without the thing he pretends to oppose. Anti-racists need racism and will preserve it at all costs.

The Labour Party is about as relevant as socialism to modern Britain ... not at all.

I am reminded of this quote from Booker T Washington...

"I am afraid that there is a certain class of race-problem solvers who don’t want the patient to get well, because as long as the disease holds out they have not only an easy means of making a living, but also an easy medium through which to make themselves prominent before the public.".

Spot on. Starmer has declared war on his own party when he had the opportunity to profit from the most corrupt and incompetent government we have had since Blair. The UK is virtually a one-party state now.

That’s it exactly.

The easiest job in politics is to be in opposition you can spout off all the pish ideas get rousing applause but the sensible person knows it's all pie in the sky .

It's kept the Liberals in business for almost a century beyond their shelf life.
