First piece of rumour have Galatasaray apparently looking to get Hagi (who`s grown up in Istanbul and is a Gala fan ... so they say). SabahSpor is the Twitter link, 160k followers. Gala is AFAIK not exactly rich right now, and has hardly paid above 5m in recent seasons ...

OUT - Ianis Hagi - Galatasaray - LINK

Dont think there is much chance of this happening unless Hagi is desperate to move, as you stated there is not much money in Turkish football at the moment. Actually i think its a good market for us to be looking at bring players in.

Linked with Xavi Simons of PSG

Xavi Simons can see the light at the end of the tunnel after several seasons without finishing settling in the PSG first team . According to information from TEAMtalk, one of the most interested suitors in the midfielder would be the Glasgow Rangers coached by Gio Van Bronckhorst, Simons' compatriot.

At 18 years old, the playmaker's career does not finish taking off, despite being one of the great hopes of the Parisian team. Simons has not yet broken the door of the first team, with only one official appearance in the Coupe de France last season.

It is too early to be alarmed, because at 18 years old the Dutchman can still relaunch his career far from Paris. His potential, and the skill of his agent, Mino Raiola, will cause dozens of European clubs to be interested in the situation of the midfielder, who ends his contract next summer 2022. For this reason, the team that Mauricio Pochettino coaches would only agree to cede to Simons in January after tying it up with a makeover.

Despite the fact that some information assured that the former La Masía footballer would return to the club of his childhood, FC Barcelona , following in the footsteps of Eric García, Rangers have broken into the bidding. The main reason is the change of coach following the signing of Steven Gerrard by Aston Villa.

Gio Van Bronckhorst, a countryman and a connoisseur of Simons' talent in the lower ranks of the Netherlands national team, wants to reinforce the squad with young talent and wants the transfer of the Dutchman for the upcoming winter market in 2022. The experiment of signing the children of former footballers as Ianis Hagi is already paying off. Thus, in a lower-level league like Scotland, the 18-year-old pearl could better exploit her talent than in a squad like PSG, brimming with talent both in the eleven and on the bench.

Supposedly the boy and his agent (a certain Mino Raiola) want him playing 1st team football. Id imagine if we were to get a deal arranged it would come with caveats of 1st team football. He is available on a free. It would probably be similar to the Boumsong arrangement where the player would come here, play well and win a big money move elsewhere with player & agent making a big % of the transfer fee. I wouldn't be against that and the agent would ensure a decent fee for the boy I'm sure.
