The Winter 2021/22 Rangers Transfer Thread - Aaron Ramsey loan deal confirmed

I hope Barasic stays.  He is back in really good form and is looking relaxed and confident.  He is a really important player for us just now.  He is worth way more that £10m and there are others I would be happier to go than him.

If only Barisic could stop crosses coming into the box! he would be worth a lot more!.

He has been lately. He is much less isolated these days.

Under Gerrard our aim was to push players wide and have them cross so we could defend the middle.

He’s not the only one back in good form since Gerrard left

I think his defending has been much better under Gio.  Players in front of him under SG were not doing their job and Barasic was often left entirely on his own on the left side of the park as they moved inside.  I couldn't understand why this wasn't identified and fixed.

If you look back at the chances created against us since Gio came in I think you will see the majority of these chances come from Barisic not blocking the cross!
