We looked more creative last night but we do lack a goal scoring touch up front. There aren’t many goals in the three of Aribo, Kent and Hagi and that showed last night with very good chances not taken. The second, my granny could have scored and she wasn’t great with headers. Credit to Alfredo, though. His anticipation is uncanny. He knew what the defender was going to do. It needs to be remembered too that Europe has never really been a problem under SG. It is those Scottish teams who play us every few weeks/months that know how we play and our players play that give us bother. Unless we score early and they open up, they'll load their boxes and the midfield and we need more firepower and people up front to open that tactic. Livingston away will give us a stern test and we'll have to wait and see how Gio and Co. tackle that. Players play and fans react to how they play. In McGregor's case, the calls for him to be dropped were a straightforward reaction to a run of poor performances followed by an awful one. Last night he had a better game and today no one is calling for him to be dropped. Fans are not clairvoyant, we can't make judgements on what hasn't happened yet, only what we witness.
