If you have a point of substance, why don't you state it clearly instead of all this condescending and vague nonsense. Specifically invoking the threat of fuel poverty and the cost of living crisis is hardly vague. If you have specific questions then just ask.

But it seems like we are helping the Ukraine here more than most (especially France, Germany and Netherlands the latter two are spending big bucks on Russian fuels every day). yet here we have the EU courting Ukraine, the US have been deeply involved there for years and seem to be doing a US special and washing thier hands of the situation. The UK is going to suffer with this mega inflation we are going through which will only snowball from here, and I doubt these days we can call the US or the EU our allies. Maybe if there is money in it for them the US might help us out. India seem to have been happy to turn a blind eye to all this for some Russian crude as have China. Seems to me the bulk of the 'help" we are providing is going to the NATO border states, especially the Baltic states, rather than Ukraine. Tanks, aircraft, missile systems, troops on the ground - from Finland to Romanian but none of which are in Ukraine. It's also debatable how much help the west is providing to Ukraine - it looks like NATO is doing just enough to stop Ukraine being overrun and to ensure Russia expends sufficient resources to dissuade it from pursuing any further westward ambitions it might harbour. Since Russian oil and gas is still more or less flowing freely, the only really big problem is the inability of Ukraine to export grain, which is down to no one but Russia.

Whatever she says has already had truth and substance surgically removed. Not quite. She dresses smartly and speaks much better English. Otherwise you’re right.

You contend that our involvement is in our interests rather than just to make us feel better. I mention those two things because I don't think that exacerbating either problem can be construed as being in our interests.
