Tough call this week. Defence looked unsure and too often either punted hopeless long balls or slowed the game to a crawl while they made pointless passes among themselves. Central midfield invariably reverted to sucking the tempo out of every attack for long periods. Credit to Kent and an oddly out of sorts Hagi who both tried to be positive. I thought Alfredo did particularly well but it was usually when he deserted his central striker beat, where he wasn't going to score many goals. I voted for Scott Wright who showed what pace and positivity can do to stubborn defences and frankly lit up a dull and frustrating game. If we're going to play someone wide on the right then Wright is the obvious choice and not Hagi, who only looked comfortable when he was eventually moved into a more central role.
