Its bizarre, have the arabs ran out?

No, far from it, they just want the max price agreed before they increase production.

No just not increasing production is enough to drive the price up benefiting all the oil producing countries

Mental that getting oil from other countries and shipping it half way around the world at extortionate prices is better for the climate than getting it from your own countries waters. Almost as if its not and we are cucked.

That’s not quite what it seems. Crude oil is a highly diverse and chemically complex commodity and as a country we need a mix of crude types/grades for different uses. We actually have quite a good variety of crude in UK waters but not as wide a variety as we need. So we could pump oil until we’re drowning in it and we would still need to import. We do need more lighter crude however and as it happens our Brent index crude is about as good as it gets, certainly compared with much of the sulphurous stuff from the Middle East. You’re right though Saudi Extra Light and Super Light crude is probably tops for petrol production.

I wonder if Extinction Rebellion are planning to head over to Russia to sort out Putin.  Or will they just continue to harrass and disrupt the lives of UK citizens going about their daily business, as usual.

I wouldn't advise sitting down on a motorway at this particular time. Tolerance has all but evaporated.
