It is the first time the Glasgow and Edinburgh clubs have all made it this far together in the history of the tournament. The dates of the splits have yet to be confirmed but this wont be too far off. The now defunct World Cup Qualifying Play-off International break looks like it could hamper us severely. We could do with games being moved forward rather than meaningless international friendlies, otherwise it could be 2008 all over again. You wonder whether it would be reasonable to start pestering the SPFL to re-arrange games in mid-May, since there is no feasible reason not to play games after the cup final.
