Passing the ball from side to side at the back is brutal football. The midfield wasn't working and Helander was obviously not match fit. We improved in the second half and deserved the win. I am at a loss to explain why we are making such heavy weather of games like this. I think we need significant changes in the summer. RANGERRAB 3,254 Posted March 20, 2022 Share Posted March 20, 2022 To be honest we’re not winning the league this season with performances like that. The first hour was torture to watch. The last half hour was better once we changed things & scored but does it really need to takes us so long to get into the game? And did the introduction of Sakala (not for the first time) maybe change things ? Sakala will never be the greatest player but he has energy and runs directly at defences. Opponents don’t like that. And his pace makes defences sit deeper allowing us to pile more bodies forward. Aribo coming on also helped. He is excellent in tight situations & doesn’t usually give the ball away too easily.
