[FT] Rangers 1 - 2 Celtic (Ramsey 3')

Recommended Posts

Same old failings

- can't hold onto a lead.

- can't convert chances into golas

- can't defend

- can't pick the killer pass

45 mins to save the league / season but looks like it's gonna be an almighty struggle.

Why can’t we deal with high balls in to the box? Mark your men and clear the ball. Not f&cking rocket science is it?

Broken record time… McGregor continues to cost us with his inability to command his box. How long was that ball up in the air for him to come and punch it?

  • Rousseau changed the title to Rangers 1 - 2 Celtic (Ramsey 3')

Rangers look, or are being made to look, sluggish in body and in mind. I really don't know how you might resolve that, over a half time break.

This could be an embarrassing second half. They might run out os steam, but that does not look likely, and, if they do, they could be home and hosed by the time it happens.

A very disappointing performance, so far.

Roofe is getting hardly any service and truth be told, what would Morelos have done differently? Bite Starfelt`s backside?

We play ourselves into trouble time and again at the back with utterly unnecessary passes and woeful clearances. The Scum showed us from the 35th min onwards how to play it quickly over the top et al. Far too slow from the back.

That being said, we rode our luck with their counter attacks, but with both goals the balls fell perfectly for their players.

As assumed Aribo not getting involved as he could be, we need more direct people on that flank. Yet, I can envisage that we will get Kamara and Arfield on first ...

I was talking about Morelos holding play with is body and strength and then laying off, Roofe is a bit light weight and not having the same effect.

It comes with obvious risks but we need to play higher up the pitch. All our good moments have been when we have pressed high. There is too much space between holding midfielder/defence and attacking options which means when the ball breaks down they generally win it and start an attack.

Right, but Roofe didn`t get any balls to hold up ...
