I'm not a fan of what VAR does to the match. Waiting for a decision after a goal is rubbish.

 

There is no doubt that it will improve decisions in Scotland though.

 

Will it end the boring 'debates' about decisions?

VAR certainly hasn't ended debates about decision making in England.

Good news.  I wouldn't say it has detracted from the European games.  It should help some of the dubious decisions CFC get and stop a lot of the complaints about refs.  Every time they get beat it would make you vomit.

I just need to remember that League Cup final a couple of years back where we dominated the Yahoos for nearly 90 mins and they scored with a goal from a free-kick  and 3 or 4 of their guys were offside for roughly 5 to 10 secs even before the ball reached the scorer.

 

Likewise, the Scum wouldn`t be 6 points ahead had it not been for blatant refereeing mistakes.

 

Still, it requires trained and unbiased people behind the screens and non-pompous referees on the field of play for it to have any effect in Scotland. Obviously, having VAR would also mean that said people can come under more scrutiny from clubs and authorities - even though the latter would still be Scottish.
