I think others have seen something I havent.  Just looked like a bookable late tackle to me.

he brought that round to scissor him certainly. 

 

Wright got out of the way of the right leg. 

 

for me it's the out of control lunge that makes it a red. 

 

How much he actually caught the player isn't that relevant.

Dont need to have studs up to be out of control and endangering an opponent.

 

It was either 2 reds or no reds, IMO.  And that is where the issue is

how much control can you have when both feet are of the ground. The very definition of out of control i would say.
