We've always known about Roofe's injury problems.

 

The key difference here is that Morelos is injured which is rare.

doesn't include Ramsey for some reason but i don't think it is necessarily all that bad a record. It's just concentrated in a couple of areas.

Not sure Roofe's absence will have a huge impact on the away leg at Leipzig. I would like to see us stifle the game in midfield and even have Kent through the middle if needed.

Roofe was hugely important in our three wins against St Mirren, Braga and the scum.  

 

In an ideal world, we wouldn't need to play him thrice* in seven days but with Morelos out, we don't have much choice.

The brain says: the league is probably gone (more because of the Scum are unlikely to drop many or more points than us), Europe will be a nice bonus, but Leipzig is on a run ... so let`s hope we don`t suffer any more injuries ahead of the cup final.

 

My gut feeling is that we won`t see Itten, not least since he hasn`t had any competitive football for ages. Tony Weston, Charlie McCann, and Ross McCausland are the front three for the B-side recently, so one wonders whether one of them plus Lowry will see more game time (need to check who is near or above the 5-game threshold, given they have a Glasgow Cup Final ahead).

Kent on the bench, no youngster bar King there. Midfield looks more "technically gifted" than "strong", you do wonder how it shapes up against the probably rather physical approach of the "Ironmen".
