[FT] Motherwell 1 - 3 Rangers (Wright 14', 47'; Tavernier 62' pen)

Team selection was  but of a gamble. So far it isn’t paying off. GvB has a decision to make at HT. We’ve had some dangerous balls into the opposition box but don’t even look close to taking advantage. Sakala spends far too much time out wide.

Does anybody actually think that the persistent, widespread vilification- across the board, press, radio, TV, and online -of Madden following our victory over our adversaries at Hampden, has had no effect on officiation of this match?

Kamara is of no use in that role. Today he tried to to his usual midfield passing and ball-retention stuff in an area where he should not. If anything, concede a corner. But we still do a lot of unnecessary passing around our area again, instead of clearing balls to safety. Now it will be hard, even though that Motherwell defence looks there for the taking.

Inconsistent refereeing at its glaring best. Hope he gets his act together in the 2nd half ...
