notice you haven't mentioned the humping at parkhead wisely.

Gio's poor tactics, Barisic having a nightmare and McGregor not coming for the ball were all far more to blame for that horror show than Diallo (or Ramsey).

i do apart from your daft one where they weren't even here.

In some cases directly in others by not contributing for differing reasons.

lol.  The loanees never lost us that game either - are you saying hat in a team game of 11 players per side that ONE of our players cost us that game ?  The only loanee who started that game was Amad.  And whilst he may have been poor, we had far bigger issues with the permanent players we had that night.  Barisic, Tavernier, the whole midfield 3 - were absolute dross.

But, aye, the single loanee who started that night cost us the game :roflmao: - not another loane entered the field of play for us.

Serious questions;

1. Do you see Lowry every day in training? How much have you actually seen off Lowry, outwith his games in the 1st team?

2. Would you concede the SG / GVB and their staff (or the RYD staff) know more about Lowry's attributes and what's best for his developments than any of us on a fans forum?

They may know what's best for his development but that doesn't mean he will get it though. Regular first team football may be what's best.

Exactly this.

We think that a young lad can be just thrown in amongst the hammer throwers of the SPFL.  We give little credit to people like Gerrard or GvB who have played at the very top level to nurture them as they need to be nurtured.

I don't watch them all, but got through to a fair amount of B games this season. Lowry was a standout in certain games, at times he looked head and shoulders above anyone else on the pitch. Other games (Bo'ness away, Civil Service Strollers at home spring to mind), he look like he had just been introduced to football. That's not a criticism, that's just how young players are.

On other occasions, other players have stood out - Devine, King, McCann, Weston? MCausland etc but never consistently - again not a criticism, it's just how your players are.

As fans we have to trust the staff at the club to do the right thing for these prospects and that'll usually be the exact opposite that us fans want.

Really? I think it's more of a balancing act to be honest. I'm sure Lowry has played more minutes at this stage of his career than he expected to and I'd be disappointed if he didn't want more, bit as we have to trust the manager and staff to do what's best for these players, the team, the squad and the club - a balancing act.

Would we have gotten to EL Final if we had played Lowry, McCann, King, Devine and McCorrie in the knockout ties? Doubt it.

yeah the other one wasn't fit enough to contribute.

not sure why you find it so funny.

It seems some are just dead against bringing in players on loan.  I can see their point but the reasons are opinion, not fact, based.

Loans will continue, so it's a bit of a pointless debate.
