Pre-Season 2022/23 Megathread | [FT] Rangers 1 (Colak 24') - 2 Tottenham

Sounds like Scott Wright was the stand-out.

James Sands played at CB for the second half despite the midfield being composed of youngsters, which stood out to me - is that his position going forward?

I think Sands is a bit of a utility player - can play RB, CD and DM.  Very handy to have around.

  • Rousseau changed the title to Pre-Season 2022/23 Megathread | Squad arrives in Portugal for training camp

From our homepage, the teams against Partick looked very yound.

First half:

Jon McLaughlin

James Tavernier - Connor Goldson - Leon King - Adam Devine

Scott Arfield -John Lundstram - Alex Lowry

Scott Wright - Fashion Sakala - Glenn Middleton

(Dunno whether Wright or Middleton played left or right wing, I assume it was as above.)

1-0 Lundstram (Tavernier, Wright)

1-1 Graham

2-1 Sakala (Wright)

Robby McCrorie

Mateusz Zukowski - James Sands - Nikola Katic - Jack Simpson

Cole McKinnon - Stephen Kelly - Charlie McCann

Josh McPake - Tony Weston - Ross McCausland

2-2 Smith

Ure -> Weston

3-2 McPake

For me he can be a great ball playing centre back. When he plays in midfield he just looks like a centre back playing in midfield.
