Why is the SNP so bad at governing?

Yeah, but what does he lack that you would like from a leader of the opposition?

He lacks credibility on his Brexit stance, on nationalisation, on identity politics and wokism. He lacks judgement on his unfallable support of Corbyn since 2016 and all through the antisemitism/momentum takeover, and lastly he lacks any credibility as a champion of the working class (not to be confused with the non-working/underclass) but hey that can be levelled at the Labour party as a whole.

We just don’t have politicians in Scotland with any charisma or character like old Harold Wilson and his pipe and Ganex raincoat or Ted with his bouncing shoulders Harold telling us we never had it so good old George Brown who liked a good swally prone to falling on his arse even Jeremy bite the pillow Thorpe , we knew they were telling lies but they were decent liars unlike the jock squad who reek of arrogance.

I could just about stand the arrogance if they were any good. It being utterly useless that I can’t stand about them.

Think the SNP get an easy ride, the scrutiny is nowhere near Westminster level despite Westminster size scandals.

I am not best placed or tbh that interested, to see the precise level of scrutiny coming the way of the SNP compared to Westminster.

However there is an endless supply of the heavily negative stuff linked on here.

The majority of stuff in The Lounge is from Twitter, with some additional articles from a couple of newspapers.

All I ever see on here is media heavily critical of the SNP.

The respective sides spew their biased output for the proles to get annoyed at and take their minds off the real shit.

Is that right?

Yes, I think it is a fair summing up.

1. Negative Gersnet Lounge slant on SNP is correct.

2. Biased output from both sides of SNP/Independence ranting that the other don't agree with and often vent online fury against it, ......yes

3. The Real Shit is IMO the general economic situation and where it is taking us.

Matter of opinion

Are you trying to undermine the negative output on the SNP as just twitter ranting ?

Are these under the radar newspapers you talk about, published in someone's back room ?

The SNP Administration is so lousy, so shamelessly bad, that there is absolutely no excuse for any reasonably objective media outlet to be anything other than severely critical of it. The fact that it does not face a barrage of hostility is extraordinary, and calls into question the editorial policies of these organs, and the reasons for those policies.

Let us remind ourselves that this an outfit which touts 'Independence' as a solution to all problems, and yet does not have a coherent programme for economy, polity, and society, thereafter, following the great day. Furthermore, its record in 'government' is so poor that one can only applaud its out and out chutzpah in asking anybody, even the most feeble minded, to vote for it.
