[FT] Rangers 4 (Tillman 32'; Colak 62'; Arfield 80'; Lawrence 83') - 0 St Johnstone

A decent scoreline in the end but like last week against Killie it took us time to get going against a team putting eleven men behind the ball as much as they could.

Most of our recent signings are making an impact with Tillman probably most of all. Matondo got better today as the game went on and Ben Davies looks an assured defender. And Lawrence getting on the scoresheet was good to see.

I just wonder if Morelos realises he’s now got serious competition up front when we play the lone striker. Until this season only really Roofe provided it but his fitness has hindered him everywhere he’s been. Colak is finding the net quite regularly now and doesn’t need a barrowload of chances either to score.

We were a bit pedestrian in the first half.  I expected the cross for Tillman's goal to go right out the park and up he popped.  Well done to all the new guys for playing their part in the second half.   Lundstrum was a standout and it was really good to see a fit Ryan Jack playing again.

Really pleased to see Colak get another goal. If a linesman had done his job that would be 4 goals in 5, and that’s even after being subbed fairly early in two of those. We need to provide him with more service if he is to keep it up, he’s feeding off scraps sometimes even against the dross. Would be interesting to see his goals vs xG.
