There should be an intelligence test before you are allowed to stand for election.

That would wipe the SNP out, in short order.

There wouldn’t be many candidates left

Took a visit up to Glasgow yesterday to visit my sister then on to see my son at his office followed by a stroll around the city centre and what a state it’s in beggars not real beggars more like workshy moochers topping up their benefit money they’re far to well fed and groomed to be poor add to the fact the amount with expensive pedigree dogs in tow about time the council got it’s act together and did something about these scroungers.

Not sure the council can do much about people wandering around a city centre, unless they're bothering others.

Maybe people on benefits should be made to clean up litter until they can find themselves a job.  Same goes for asylum seekers - get them cleaning the place up.  If they're so keen to live there, surely they'll be happy to spruce it up a bit.

Against human rights unfortunately. Shame as its probably these rats that are leaving the litter in the first place.

Human rights, what a crock that is. Perhaps human rights could be maintained if those who are able to work were excluded from benefits but given preferential access to community work for minimum wage?

It would certainly help resolve the issue we have now where you are in 3rd possible 4th generations of families who are career benefit claimants and have never worked a day in their life. Its clearly a broken system but there seems to be no appetite to fix it.

I suspect there is some appetite. Just a complete lack of courage.

So once again back up to the shithouse that’s Glasgow to bury a close relative only to come out the central station at Union street to see some Eastern European bully boy slapping his woman I think she wasn’t to happy at having to sit at the bottom of the stairs with her paper cup that’s Glasgow now the city fathers should be bull whipped.
