CammyF 6,753 Posted July 19, 2006 Share Posted July 19, 2006 Just weeks after David Murray promised us (yeah, like we'd believe him) statements that would defend our club and promote our heritage and tradition, we have yet another TWAT in the media attacking our reputation. Recently, Martin Bain was accused of dodgy dealings in a newspaper and David Murray via Rangers, issued a writ 2 hours after the story was run - killing the story stone-dead. How long do we, the fans have to wait for Murray to act? Well, for a man that won't defend DEAD Rangers fans, there isn't much hope of him defending the living is there. Because David Murray LETS THEM :confused: He also allows them free pre-match, half-time and post-match hospitality and access to players and management.......... Yet continued lies just to slander RFC and its fans and the usual "silence" stance is taken. These lies are spat out so much that people actually start to genuinley believe them. The media say these things cause they know they get away with it. Celtic's PR dept attack those who slander them. And our PR dept? Do we even have one? I don't think there is anything we can do - look at the recent lies and inuendos in the press that haven't been acted on; Our grass cut like a SASH The Eggs Benidict story The annual furore about our strip (its English, its orange, its a sash - its fuck all to do with the media) Lies about Mark Walters Lies about signing policy The Iborx disaster mocked in print The Ibrox disaster laughed at by journalists Jock Wallace and Bill Struth demonised in obituories A journalist calling us ORANGE SCUM A journalist who can't go a day without a dig at Rangers, the fans or the RST A journalist who wanted a 'Munich' to happen Aye Mr Murray, a dignified silence put them in their place - oh but its alright, they know who they are.....
