craig 5,195
craig, if anything would cure a hangover, it would be the prospect of watching a whole world cup. Fell asleep at work whilst waiting for the 2nd half to start. And am in the bad books at home - looks like footy is the only company I will have this weekend !

Lynds 0
Didn't know that puking up and hangovers were so enjoyable... And how do you know you're enjoying life if you don't remember most of it? And I'm pretty sure that if you do remember it's hazy and just like a dream... Nothing wrong with having a good drink, and I frequently have a bottle of wine or two, but getting wrecked is something for kids who don't know any better IMHO. What's the point of "enjoying life" getting wrecked every night when you end up waking up as a fat, red nosed, thread veined, 45 year old, couch potato who gets out of breath going up a few flights of stairs? I think it's about balance and I feel better about having a good bevvy after I've had a game of football, or squash, or badminton, or touch rugby, or a bit of cycling, or a session in the gym, or even a round of golf (all the stuff I do every week). Besides, apart from the gym, they are all very enjoyable too and life would definitely be boring without them. bully for you. Each to their own I guess. Depends on what we 'class' as enjoyable. 'US KIDS' still like going out and having a laugh with our mates getting hammered. And saying that everyone who goes out and gets drunk regularly whilst young ends up as a 'fat, red nosed, thread veined, 45 year old, couch potato who gets out of breath going up a few flights of stairs?' is a totally ridiculous statement.
colshy18 0
indeed, i work with people who abuse alcohol and i can quite categorically say i have seen 89 year olds who have been tanning the bottle for the best part of 50 years and are still hanging on.
