  1. Past hour
  2. I wonder what would have been the outcome if there was VAR back in 1966
  3. Its like putting Harold Shipman in charge of the old folks home.
  4. Up to the club to move guys on and recoup some cash to be used.
  5. Today
  6. We don’t need vCard we have Wullie Column in Scotland
  7. And if we rip it up and start again were is all the money going to come from for new staff you won’t get much for the current bunch maybe four million for the goalie but the rest are pound shop quality
  8. Worrying how little some of these guys have played. Didn’t think Sima had missed so much time either.
  9. Rumour is they will not get the 14 votes needed. Clubs tend to vote with what the EPL and media want. The EPL has fully bought into the tech and does not want the league to be viewed as backward by Europe, also the rights holders believe VAR is great TV. Both do not care how this manifests itself with the match going fans as they are smaller demographic than the global armchair fans.
  10. Not compensation for throwing away the league but it would make the summer more enjoyable. Ironic that a Cup victory might be delivered by a team much different from the failures.
  11. Agree, offside traps are an art. The best offside trap in the world cant catch an attacker offside by a whisker. The rule is stupid as is IMO.
  12. Lets hope so. Don't think anyone noticed that when they played us last none of his signings started, he is sticking to the old guard. He doesnt have a good track record bringing in talent. Lots of attention on what we do in the transfer market but what they do will have a big say.
  13. Scanning various info sites for transfer news, one obviously comes across the adulation of the Scum in the media and by the usual suspects. Blissful ignorance of what they wrote a month or so ago, when we had games in hand and Rodgers was almost crucified by fans and media alike. No word about our injury ravaged season and that we only messed it up over the matter of 10 days or so. Let's hope we have the final laugh at Hampden.
  14. I thought Todd was good and deserved MOTM then Dessers second Raskin 3rd I didn’t see much of Diomande tbh
  15. I always preferred the clear daylight way we did it for a while (I heard talk recently of this coming back?) as it results in more of a positive effect on the game, ie more chances/goals.
  16. I agree that the spontaneity is definitely affected, but the CL* in the main manages to keep the game flowing far better than either our league or the EPL does. As a team who are generally in the opponents box more than our own, VAR will always result in a net positive for us. * I believe that's due to it being semi automated.
  17. I thought he was, 'taking the puff' and viewing his tropical fish tank for a few weeks. Haste ye back, Bill.
  18. Aye, ruins the spectacle and spontaneity that makes football enjoyable. Bin it.
