  1. Today
  2. The Jolly Bhoy's Outing. Here's the gig. Tom continues his refusal to apologise to Peter over the article he penned reference Brendan's itchy feet. Tom remains not welcome at ra Stade de Gadd and Lennoxtown. Chris has empathy and as such, is consigned to ra grassy knoll across London Road from ra Sellik Way. The PQ CSC supporters' bus travels without Tom and Chris. Convenor, Kheredine Idessane is demanding club Treasurer, Martin Dowden publishes the dues owing. Secretary, Amy Canavan insists upon a constant Sellik State of Mind. Effectively, ra green'n'grey hooped horrors won the Premiership on Saturday after their 2-1 victory over Rangers. BBC Scotland ensured their targeted, preferred audience were fully informed, live radio and online commentary plus TV highlights. Compare and contrast with the five years license fee Rangers supporters endured when Chris fell out with our club? We had to wait until after the final whistle to hear that week's nominated naughty step occupier look at a studio monitor and relay the score. On Saturday last, Tom was confined to the studio and Chris visited the Pride Collection to squeeze into lederhosen. Bavaria bound and hoping Pinocchio would utter some lies whilst Chris squatted on his face, Gollum got away from fellow gloating Yahoos by doing a promo for Auntie on the upcoming Euros in Germany. It is a three day jolly, taking in accommodation, spa facilities, tourism opportunities, tasting the big sausage and, sipping from a stein. Tomorrow, after horticultural tips from Berchtesgarden Chris goes full Cabaret. He is intent upon telling us the Money, Money required for a short time with a Chick with a Stick. Well, he has to grab Brenda's interest. Will both BBC Scotlands Sports Correspondent and Chief Football Writer be in attendance at the Scottish Cup final next Saturday, does Peter's influence extend to Hampden? We should be told.
  3. We need someone to take him and given we have him on another 2 years(?) on near 30k a week and a testimonial to come I cant see it.
  4. Watching him try and recover against Maeda was brutal viewing though. Carragher did a little piece to camera on MNF last week about how Casemiro needs to leave to the MLS or Saudi because his legs have gone and that it's sad to see him like that. That's where I was with Tav on Saturday - if he was a brilliant defender with little pace I'd happily keep him as a starter, like an Azpilicueta or Carvajal..but alas, he isn't. Although if we had a good structure and system in place his deficiencies would be less prominent.
  5. A Saudi wage will blow that all away. It's a decision for him and his family future now tbh, overall he's been a great signing, but I wouldn't be disappointed to see him leave. We've kept too many over the years.
  6. The guys who turn up every week and are available to play at a good level are the least of our worries IMO. Tav has good games and bad but overall he is still one of our best, unless we get a Saudi super bid he is going nowhere anyway.
  7. Could be a good job for someone
  8. A combination of all of that I think and some young players with potential to make us money.
  9. I see a few mentioning lists that need to be away this summer and I cant argue with most of it, but those wanting Tav away (I think it is the right time myself too) are going to be disappointed. This is the end of Tav's 9th season with us, meaning next season is his 10th and I know there is already a testimonial committee set up and working on a series of events for next year. Given how lucrative this is, plus he and his family are settled here, there is absolutely no chance he is going to be away this year. The 9 who are out of contract all have to leave, plus we just have to sell 3-4 players for good money to pay for the rebuild. We may also have to allow a couple to leave for free (Goldson) as their wages are out of sync with their contributions. I found it interesting in PC's presser yesterday that he was certain there would be huge changes in the medical department and that may of course include sports science as he is clearly very unhappy at the information and/or quality of work he is getting from them. He believes the injuries cost us the title and he is obviously unhappy at the support staff in this area.
  10. I noticed that Ryan Jack was not included in the 11 mentioned as being out for tonight. Does this mean he might actually be fit? Or just that he has already "left the building" and isnt even included anymore in PC's thoughts?
  11. Depending on the play-off result, think Ian Murray will be the next Hibs manager but Tony Doherty is a good shout. Can't see McInnes being interested in it. Scott Brown will also be in the running and Martindale recently said he'd like to stay at Livi, so count him in as well 😀😀
  12. If you look at our squad, the only players that we have which might interest potent buyers are Butland, Dessers, and Sterling. Ridvan and Cantwell too, but for less money. English clubs see stats and all and throw money at the owners. Maybe we get lucky and SG wants Tavernier badly, Goldson too. Since we threw the title away, we need to generate income to rebuild the squad for next season. There are enough good keepers about who can do a job in the Premiership (where it matters), although Butland would be my player of the season and I do hope we keep him. Alas, with him, we have a strong leg to stand upon in any transfer dealings.
  13. Will make forecast later just a heads up re kick-off time being 7.30.
