It seems some would prefer a tick on their chest to success on the park.9 points

Hopefully for Murty, not Candeais Candeais is has been our best player by a mile today. Probably our best player this season. whilst Holt isn’t the strongest he is very tenacious and reads the game well. He’s had a number of good interceptions in there today, particularly in advanced areas.5 points

We hold our players to a standard far above any other support , and we are far too quick to rubbish players we as a support don't like . As examples , though there are plenty other , Alan Hutton and Charlie Adam , were widely slaughtered by the majority of our support , simply for trying to do things in games we didn't like , never mind their stats in Europe which were excellent , we simply never learn .4 points

Whats the issue here? Thats about 30-40 minutes before kick off they hadn't all come out of the dressing room to warm up yet. Once they were all out he was with Craig Flannigan who took the subs for their circuits and warm up. He didnt look any different to any of the others warming up from where I was sitting.4 points

Why is it an issue that our striker is greedy? Any striker worth his salt is greedy.4 points

With our support and players all we will ever play is a dying game. too focused on Celtic to build anything of note and too xenophobic to see European football has left us behind.4 points

Years ago there were Rangers strips being made in Romania which were on sale in that country before they'd been unveiled here. Personally I couldn't give a monkeys who makes our jersey as long as the club got a decent deal out of it. There's far too much snobbery about makes like Nike.3 points

Did I not see Cummings miss a one on one with the goalkeeper and sky a long shot over the bar? therefore does that not akin him to Morelos. Just because one smiles and the other doesn't it does not make one better than the other.2 points

A bit more of that attitude for next week please Rangers.........2 points
-
His critics are just seeing what they want to see. What are the rest of the players doing behind? Just as much. His expression is a permanent sulk; that's just his expression. He takes a temper tantrum after every miss, whether it's an impossible 30-yarder from an acute angle or a tap-in from 2 yards. IMO, of course.2 points

Was really pleased with how we went about the match today. It wasn't just a win for me, the boys rolled up their sleeves and fought for every ball. Cummings, Holt, Dorrans, Murphy & Candieas were all excellent.2 points

Rangers have almost all the pressure and looking the most dangerous but it's breaking down at the sharp end.2 points

What a load of guff. Dying game and xenophobia? Are you sure you're on the correct forum?2 points

This last week starting with the poor showing in the semi final coupled to the suspension of Wallace and Miller has been more difficult than it needed to be. Given where we've been in the last 6 years we've had worse weeks as Rangers fans. As far as Celtic, Aberdeen and Hibs are concerned I seriously couldn't care less about them or their results. I'm a Rangers supporter and I only care about Rangers. What was obvious was that Celtic played for a draw yesterday and only turned up for the last 5 mins all so they could get their title decider against us at home. We've not played well consistently this season but that was not a smart move on their part. We don't think we're good enough nor do we expect to beat them in the next game but they should still have wrapped the league up yesterday against Hibs and didn't. That's a mistake because the league isn't over yet. Now lets hope the Rangers turn up today against Hearts and give them a spanking and then carry that on to the next game.2 points

Much better this week. We should have won by a few more though. We'll need to play even better to get a result next week.1 point

An expert at sweeping things under the carpet then. I wish I could say I was surprised.1 point

We have to treat it as an opportunity. By my calculations, if the sheep beat Hearts on the Friday, we'd need a draw to 'spoil the party'.1 point

More like Chelsea a few years ago: imperious, consistent with a top-5 and a runners-up spot, then a disastrous run which saw me languish in the bottom half.1 point

Can’t help but like Murty as a person. Was funny in his interview there when they mentioned Candeais running to Halliday “well he ran past me so I need to wipe custard off my face”1 point

Probably but to be fair to the linesman only a slowmo and freeze frame would confirm.1 point

Yeah it’s really weird right ? Every one of us can tell when we high press at high tempo we look good. But we never know what we will get each week.1 point

That'll be our easiest game of the post-split. We'll need to improve a lot on today but at least it's something to build on for the last 4 games.1 point

So up until today you were the Brechin City of the GPL ?1 point

We are a far better side when we press the opposition, which makes last week even more awful.1 point

Yes, I know; you're probably the most objective when it comes to Windass. Yes, he's not directly influencing things, but involved in the build-up. Our first saw him play a ball over for Murphy to assist; he didn't score, didn't assist, but he was involved. Anyway, yes, he's not been great but I still feel he's had a good/decent game.1 point

I don’t think he went to the manager did he ? Was it not the bench, and Halliday in particular ?1 point

See, I don't think we were outnumbered in midfield. Yes, they had McGregor wide, but he always came inside. We had a narrow 4-3-3, so we weren't outnumbered per se. It was individual mistakes, and our midfield pushing up and not covering those runners in behind -- McGregor gets the chance because we fluff our clearance, but our midfield is nowhere to be seen. So, IMO, we weren't outnumber per se, it was just our execution of it left too much space. It was really poor. We were a bit more passive too, which is strange, because most teams that execute a good press do well against them.1 point

Arsenal could do worse......by employing ,say, an advisory panel from Gersnet....1 point

I don’t. We need European games.I don’t want us playing those awful LC fixtures at the start of the season again1 point

Yes, see post 64. ‘The Club conducted an extensive tender process with more than ten offers being received and Hummel were chosen as the preferred option. The new kit will be worn for the first time in the summer during the Club’s pre-season games.’1 point
