His answer around the loans was ridiculous, suggesting they'd have to do due diligence to make sure they could repay the loan. I imagine the conversation would go something like this ... Club: Can we get £50,000 please? SPFL: No, sorry we can't because we need to check that you can afford to repay it. Club: But its my money, can't I get it? SPFL: Yes of course you can get £50,000 but not as a loan. We need to just give it to you. Club: I thought you were worried that I couldn't pay it back? SPFL: Yes, that was because it was a loan, but it's your money so we will just give it to you. Club: So you were worried about me defaulting on the loan, secured against my own money, but you're happy to just give me my money? WHAT!?!?! I showed this to some of the bankers I deal with. They think this is hilarious, but that's because they don't support teams in Scotland and don't care about the idiots running our game.4 points

I'm beginning to realise the SPFL is definitely hiding something. These statements are blatantly desperate and surely everyone sees this. If I was the board and I had nothing to hide I'd sit back and allow Rangers to present their findings first, and then respond. This is utterly bizarre behaviour however and it's incredibly suspicious. Equally, as a CEO I'd be utterly embarrassed that others are making statements about the organisation I lead. Where is Doncaster in all of this? It becomes even more ridiculous by the day ... and we have these guys running our game?!?!? It's just beyond a joke now.4 points

That pretty much sums up the reality of it. Scotland has simply made the short journey from a two horse town to a one horse town. Football here is run by and for the sole benefit of Celtic ... and the really awful part of it is absolutely no one outside Rangers gives a damn.4 points

Let's be honest guys, it mattes not a jot if the other 50+ UEFA countries all declare no champions, Scotland will still declare the bheasts as Champions, just as sure as if it were reversed and 50+ UEFA countries declared Champions and we were 10 points clear our country's position would be null and void. It's all about the bheasts, and we are supposed to lie down and get our tummy tickled.4 points

We should all thank Shifty McGifty for confirming : 1. Arrogance. 2. Spite. I love his immediate conformity at the end of the 10th paragraph, "which are said to be causing THAT club so much apparent concern". Echoing PQ 's Tom English and his immediate reaction to Gregory Campbell MP appearing on Spostsound, "why was THAT man allowed on the show"? Shifty McGifty, Chair of We don't care what the animals say, sing it loud and sing it proud.3 points

Yes, but, when it's McLennan in Wonderland, “Contrariwise,' continued Tweedledee, 'if it was so, it might be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn't, it ain't. That's logic.”2 points

New handles arrived today. Made a starter cu in the jammed spindle with a hacksaw and didn’t stop. Twelve minute job. Thanks for the help.2 points

Maclennan's open letter to all clubs (via FF) Honestly, words start to fail me reading this stuff and how these creatures think they can manipulate public and chairmen opinions with strraight faced lies, half-truths and innuendo. Not least when about a dozen journos and reports have revealed information to the contrary.2 points

Decent summary of events from English. You can tell he smells some blood here. And in one sense he can't lose. Either the SPFL or Rangers get stuffed by this and he gets to write about it. He wants this played out to a conclusion and not shut down like Doncaster and his cronies. You have to wonder what they are scared of. Because it's clear they want this stopped and no scrutiny to take place. Rangers should hold on to what we have despite all the clamour for disclosure. Keep them sweating a few more days Rangers. Who knows what other ammunition they might inadvertently provide us.1 point

He actually thinks we should hand over evidence to the criminals. Moronic1 point

I think you'll find there are a number of people thinking about replacing Chinese supply of PPE - not just for the domestic UK market either.1 point

Actually, the eventual replacement for Huawei kit in the core network will be Ericsson. BT has partnered with the Swedish company and it's kit will be a key addition to BT’s Network Cloud and will continue the move already underway to a single converged IP network. However the removal of Huawei kit from the core network (EE) has I think been delayed and will be later than 2020.1 point

I have some sympathy with the SPFL Board, and its hired help. It must be incredibly difficult to deal with the Coronavirus/Covid -19 while a wave of chronic diarrhoea sweeps mercilessly through the ranks: dry cough and wet farts are no laughing matter..... No, really....1 point

Given the current circumstances, most leagues are realising that it's in bad taste to be awarding titles, and for any teams to be celebrating them incomplete. Didn't stop dundee utd though.1 point

The Dutch have said No champion, no relegation, no promotion. Thus, the runaway leaders of the 2nd tier have gone ballistic. France too, methinks. AFAIK, Belgium hasn't decided.1 point

There is no problems with 5G but what we need to do is cut China from the equation by finding another partner in its provision1 point

Holland has declared their season over with no promotions/titles/relegations, but the other two have yet to decide. Spain is the big one which would sway opinion. At the moment they seem determined to finish their season behind closed doors. This is a change of position for them because when the lockdown was introduced they very quickly reached agreement with all their clubs to end the season and take the same approach as Holland. They also engaged with the EPL who agreed to take the same approach. For some reason they now seem keen to finish the season and I believe it's down to contractual arrangements they have, and the threats from sponsors about recovering funds. This is because their government is saying they will be back to 'normal' in June, meaning that the sponsors are now insisting that there is no reason not to finish properly.1 point

Don’t be daft, man. I have listened to bbc for a lot longer than your 4 decades. Do you think I can’t judge what I hear? bbc is institutionally biased. The bias is to the intellectual left. I can’t speak for forlan or Bill or others but do you really think they don’t form their own opinions?1 point
