  1. The annual call to focus and improve on player trading is much easier than achieving it. At least the recruitment of our current first team manager seems to have been well handled and will hopefully have a positive effect on and off the park.

  4. The reason for poor player trading results is the board repeatedly appointing inadequate managers and DoFs. So you’d better hope you finally got it right this time.

  5. The highlight of today's BBC Scotland's Sportsound was Pat Bonner blaming Aberdeen for ra Sellik's six goal thrashing in Madrid during midweek. This proved too much for Big Dick, he went on a two minute rant about budgets. Now, Peter has recently been appointed to UEFA's most influential committee; why doesn't he ensure all of ra Sellik's Euro' opposition play in the Aberdeen strip. Everything will be okey dokey.

  6. McCauslands goal should have stood. McLean had a shocking first half. Wrongly gave a penalty & wrongly disallowed a goal

  9. Idk if it's been picked up yet but I thought that little interaction between Jack Butland and the Livi mascot was a touch of class - little things like that go a long way. It's a big occasion for these kids, a little conversation and engagement does wonders.

  10. I’m intrigued, are you actually one of us or just a visitor intent on criticising everything in sight?

  11. We are all besotted with Butland and Sima was on fire for a few weeks but would I be wrong in saying Connor Goldson has been our most consistent outfield performer this season? We're racking up the clean sheets in all comps so I thought I'd delve into his stats... Total duels won 5.6 (72%) Ground duels won 2.9 (80%) Aerial duels won 2.7 (65%) Interceptions per game 0.2 Tackles per game 1.5 Possession won 0.1 Balls recovered per game 7.7 Dribbled past per game 0.2 Clearances per game 2.5 Error led to shot 0 Error led to goal 0 Penalties committed 0 I'll add the same stats from season 55... Interceptions per game 0.9 Tackles per game 1.3 Possession won 0.0 Dribbled past per game 0.2 Clearances per game 3.0 Error led to shot 1 Error led to goal 0 Penalties committed 0 Total duels won 6.8 (71%) Ground duels won 2.5 (68%) Aerial duels won 4.2 (72%) Of course there's the eye test but I think another couple of weeks of these types of performances and we can say that Connor is back to his best. Tell me what you think anyways. Cheers.

  12. Not read them, not listened to the interview but Social Media awash with tales of us being doomed, so I'm assuming that they are OK.....

  13. The funeral cortege for the much-loved Mary ‘Tiny’ Gallacher will pass the front doors of Ibrox Stadium at approx 11:10-11:30am on Tuesday. 💙 Tiny, who served the club for over 50 years, was a treasured friend to generations of players and staff, receiving the John Greig Achievement Award in 2014 for her dedication to the club. Supporters are invited to pay their final respects.

  14. McCausland for me. Great finish to what should have been his first senior goal and his direct running and passing is refreshing. Reminds me of Willlie Johnston.

  15. Very true. I find it interesting that our main public broadcaster does NOT issue any form of apology to either Sportsound listeners or Sportscene viewers. It is quickly glossed over by the usual "small minority" mutterings. Just as no one ever mentions they are the only club in the UK that never display a poppy on their team shirts at this time of year. A club like no other....indeed!

  16. Gutted for young McCausland. That was a great finish, and should have stood. On that form he is our best option for the right wing. As for the game, on the whole I am happy with the result. The first half was certainly better than the second. Like him or not Dessers will have to contribute goals and today he did that. The tifo and minutes silence today were as usual class, well done to those concerned. WATP

  17. Ridvan for Sima was a clever sub to see the game out . Big Phil did the same on Thursday with Lawrence for Sima after Sima never tracked back for Sparta's goal .

  21. I don't think Lammers was anywhere near as bad as Sykseybear makes out. In fact, like most of our players, he had a decent 1st half. In fact, the same poster was using words like disgraceful to describe our 2nd half performance andwent further saying it was worst 2nd half performance of this or any other era
