  1. We've already sold Kamara, Colak, Sakala and Mayo. Profit of £6 or 7 million? But yeah, not sure where the next lot of sales are coming from.
  2. We qualified for the Champions League and made a £23.6m profit on player trading and still managed to make a loss before tax of £3.1m. A £9.2m increase in staff costs. Legal costs and resolution of contractual settlements of £1.33m. Obviously we don't have a split between the two but we only had a provision of £425K in the previous year's account. £13m of loans from the directors are helping, but while they're not great in themselves, the next few years could be problematic if we can't maintain a £10m+ player trading profit.
  3. I'm sure that they said something similar 6-12 months ago. I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up getting deferred.
  4. I disagree. Goram was very good with the ball at his feet.
  5. The Goalie. Best in the world for a couple of years. I can't think of another Rangers player who we could claim that about during my time watching the Gers.
  6. Whereas it doesn't even get into the top 5 of bad half performances of this season alone.
  7. I don't think I've seen one Rangers supporter get too carried away with Clement's start. Not one. We've all been burned too many times. Virtually all are delighted with how the team is now playing compared to a month ago, and virtually all are delighted with our win against Sparta, apart from the odd one.
  8. Between Danilo, Jack and Davies for me. Really tough choice between Davies and Jack. Given Bill has gone for Jack I'll go for Davies.
  9. Agreed. Liverpool fans are claiming that it's about the deaths, but there's loads of examples of Liverpool claiming to be the victims, their refusal to be respectful to the royal family because of Margaret Thatcher (go figure) being one.
  10. Great marketing and well done to whoever organised it. StayC have 2 million followers on Insta, which is 3 times as many as Rangers so it's getting our name out there.
  11. DJ is a lucky bastard, going out with her while she was straight.
  12. I should preface my comments with the fact that I watched the game from a low down Hampden seat so couldn't really see much of the game that well. Although Tav scored twice, his crossing, particularly in the first half was dreadful. I thought Lundstram had a great game but I'm going with Danilo. His constant running was excellent and he won the important penalty. He's improving all the time.
  13. Impossible to limit it to one At - winning the league at Parkhead on 1999 while they humiliated themselves on and off the park. And the Leipzig game. Not at - Leeds away in 92, which I ended up having to watch in the Edmiston Club. And Helicopter Sunday, which was so unexpected.
  14. Do all away fans get searched going into grounds these days? It's easy enough to get a bottle of water into Ibrox. Well it is for me, but I don't look like I'm in the UBs, so maybe there's a difference.
  15. That diagram still has player positions. Yes, players can have different roles within their positions depending on their skillset, to put it in most basic terms, but there are still positions. That's always been the case. It's not necessarily tactical either. Looking at our full backs, Tav, Sterling, Borna and Ridvan are all different and would do different roles based on their skillset, but they aren't able to switch to a different role particularly well. Hateley and McCoist were always target and finisher and were always referred to in that way, so it's hardly a new concept either. Souness always wanted Hateley as a target man and when he couldn't get Hateley he went out and got Drinkell
  16. That's my understanding too. He's like a goalpost. It used to be like that when the ball hit him too, but the law changed around 4 years ago so that it's a drop ball.
  17. Lundstram played well again but I'm going for Balogun. the big man came into the team as if he was an ever-present and made some great runs forward.
  18. And not forgetting their pro-independence sister "newspaper" The National, which is no friend of ours either. The Rangers Review is sadly from the same stable and help keep afloat the aforementioned blats, and that's why I boycott it.
  19. You missed my (perhaps poor attempt at a) joke, mate. It was a play on the word offence, and there's one club who are constantly taking offence.
  20. Also we only let in 3 more goals than Celtic last season but scored 21 goals less than them, so the defence was not our main problem.
  21. Given the problems we have against the low block, I've got to say attack.
