  1. Yeah, the museum is definitely worth a visit.
  2. I think there's only 1,000 in it. They can't do a first come, first served these days. I presume there will be a specific seat allocated for all games for season ticket holders. Anything else sounds like a nightmare to administer.
  3. Kane is a liability to the team. He looks tired and has no pace. One of his strengths over the past couple of years has been coming deep, but England don't want him to do that as he just gets in the way of Bellingham and Foden. Watkins is much more suited to the system that England are playing, but we all know that Southgate doesn't have it in him to drop Kane.
  4. The ref was generally fine, apart from the penalty decision. He didn't give it initially then was sent to review by VAR and then gave it. My view was that it wasn't a penalty as it was more Kane kicking the defender than the other way around but the defender's foot was up with studs showing, which Is presumably why the ref gave it. It's certainly a controversial talking point.
  5. I'm glad it's Hampden from a travelling viewpoint. I wouldn't fancy going through to Murrayfield potentially a couple of times a week. However Hampden is such a shit stadium with so many poor seats. I'm hoping for south stand upper, which are about the only decent seats. An interesting debate will be had over standing v sitting. There's many season ticket holders who are unable to stand for 90 minutes, my wife included, who will not be able to deal with the normal standing at Hampden.
  6. Great goal by Watkins. A deserved win for England.
  7. Maybe I misunderstood what Davie Edgar said.
  8. Don't know. Guess it could have been in both places?
  9. The minutes from the Fan Advisory Board's meeting with the club have just been released. This meeting was 3 days before the club announced the issue with the stadium. Stadium Upgrades The club shared that The Director of Operations and Venue is working with the Facilities team and the main contractor. Elements of the project are out with our control, and we are working to make sure we have contingencies in place. Everything is going according to plan, at the minute. The FAB asked about the WhatsApp rumours (i.e. Ibrox unlikely to be ready for the start of the new season) and if there are contingencies in place to play elsewhere if something goes wrong. The club responded regarding several options including other Scottish Stadia were being explored. Everything is on the table and being considered. The club finished by stating that the project was a piece that was ever moving but the club are on top of that. The club have since released a public statement updating supporters on the project, linked below: Link to Rangers Statement: Supporter Update 20/06/24 Prior to the statement's release, the club reached out to the FAB to inform them of the planned communication. The club has committed to arranging a meeting with the FAB to maintain open dialogue and consider any concerns regarding the project's impact. It seems that the WhatsApp rumours had more information than the club....or the FAB were lied to. The wording suggests the latter.
  10. I heard on the H&H Daily Update that the Daily Record initially had the article under the heading of "An Ibrox Disaster". 😡
  11. If the board were wanting to leak information through the press, they're much more likely to use the Rangers Review than Keith Jackson.
  12. I'm hearing Kenny McLean is a done deal. No other details on it though.
  13. Apparently Kelly didn't have the best of seasons last year, so I doubt he's been brought in as a replacement for Butland. It really appears that he's a replacement for McCrorie.
  14. We've already got one assistant manager, don't we?
  15. Why would we have to move to Murrayfield? Presumably we can still use the other 3 stands, so our capacity would be reduced to 42K for some games that we can't switch to the away ground.
  16. Playing 5 in defence against one striker is laighable.
  17. I don't recall ever seeing a story from him that I hadn't seen elsewhere first, but can't recall the specifics of the Sakala one. As you say, very hit or miss.
  18. Premier Sports bought Viaplay’s UK sports broadcasting business and is rebranding Viaplay Sports 1 and 2 under its own banner.
  19. Agreed. It is good to have a museum and to have NEH, but did it really have to be at the cost of selling off our land around the stadium? Surely it could have been financed in some other way, perhaps over a longer period of time.
  20. The ongoing work in the stadium is great, but selling off a large part of the Albion is so frustrating. We've owned it for many years and it's part of our history. For the directors to sell it off to finance their (perhaps needed) vanity project of NEH is short-sighted. Future generations will lose whatever benefit they may have had from it. It'll be gone forever once it's sold for flats.
  21. The CEO will take his instructions from the PLC board as to the level of confrontation. Also we may not know the level of confrontation. It may be that they think that doing it privately may be more effective, even if it doesn't assuage parts of our support.
  22. Robbed in an OF games yet again. Thought we were the better team and unlucky to lose.
  23. Thanks for organising and keeping it going each week @Rousseau
  24. Rangers 1 - 3 Celtic Tav I may change this prior to kick off but just want to put in something in case I don't get the chance tomorrow as I'm away.
