  1. Sorry, you're an arsehole. Should the people in Glasgow judge the Mancunians by the Utd casuals who went up PRW terrorising women and children? Of course not. It seems that there were a few neds intent in causing trouble. Out of a crowd of 200,000 you are always going to get that. I never saw any trouble in the 2 days I was there and only saw bears having a great time, and still had people coming up to me at midnight last night saying how great the support had been.
  2. I saw the flag at the game. Well done guys.
  3. Great article. That's me heading off now. Safe trip to all the bears, and remember, win or lose, "we arra people"
  4. I would hate to be called ******.
  5. Can't speak for hun but you are corect about fen_ian. The major problem was that many idiots in our support used it in the wrong way ("Jorge Cadete, you're nothing but a fen_ian bast_ard") for many years and we ended up getting punished for it.
  6. Celtic fans seems to call themselves tims in the same ways as we call ourselves bears. Calling a Celtic fan a tim isn't anywhere as bad as calling one by another name. The question still remains as to why Celtic fans are allowed to use the word hun without any comeback. In recent weeks there have been a few "coded" pro-IRA banners appearing in the Celtic support as well. They can get away with anything they like, and the politicians, the police and the football authorities are unwilling to do anything about it, but jump on anything Rangers fans do, and that annoys me.
  7. Sorry, but it is nothing like the word "tims". It has become a derogatory word for Protestant, and as such it has been banned by the Police Service in Northern Ireland along with fen.ian and ta.ig. It should be treated in the same way as either of these two words. Celtic fans have managed to get away with its use all season. It just shows the double standards at work in Scotland.
  8. A £95 ticket, but it's really weird. No Aisle nummber like the rest of the tickets but just says "North west Corner" aisle NWC. Can't figure out why it's so expensive if it's in the corner, and trying to find out.
  9. I was there at 9am and got my tickets at 11. Two hours wasn't too bad. The ones who turned up at looked like they would be there for 4 or 5 hours. Ouch.
  10. Correct. That's the church he is currently involved with.

    Cousin

Coousin's deal fell through. I doubt they willr enew their interest in him.
  12. McCurry is not linked to the Church of Scotland
  13. He did OK. Played a killer pass to set up Novo with a great chance, and some other nice play. A few good tackles as well, although he needs to work on his positional play.
  14. I've been carrying my tickets about with me everywhere. Went to bed the other night and realised I had left them downstairs and had to go and take them up to the bedroom.
  15. I have a lot of sympathy. I'm a bit older than you, and am lucky enough that I can buy a ticket without it being an issue financially. I would be in the same boat as you had it happened to me at the same age. Let's just hope you get another chance in a few years time.
  16. I bought a couple on ebay for £500, then bought another couple for a mate for the same. Just got a message today to say that I am getting one on the ballot. The amount that you are paying may seem a lot, but it's a once in a lifetime experience. You will earn £695 again.....
  17. Heard the TBO sining it today and couldn't remember the words to tell my mates. Will need to work on that. "he's the rock of our....
  18. It's as close as a bean counter comes to a sense of humour....
  19. It was Thomson who was injured. Not sure what caused it, but he will apparently be OK for Wed.
  20. 2 great goals and great work rate. has to be Nacho, although most of the team played well today. R.B., agree with you on BF.
  21. The travel club seemed to get £35 and £55. The ballot people a few days ago seemed to be largely £55. Reports on FF of people getting £75 deducted from their account overnight last night and me having £95 off. I can't imagine spare tickets suddenly becoming available from the club because of lack of uptake, but I guess you never know. All very strange.
  22. I've got a couple of mates who I've been going to the games with for years who don't have tickets, so they will probably end up with the other ones. They were over in Florence for the semi but aren't in the travel club so don't have tickets. Have to charge them the same amount that I paid for them though. Can't figure out how the club suddenly came up with £95 tickets though.
  23. Got home from the game today at around 5.15pm to a message on my answering machine. Some electronic guy from Rangers saying that I had been allocated a £95 ticket for the final. Got to go tomorrow to collect it.
