Is that a question, mate? Actual figures of what?
-
Correct. Some of it was used to pay for the closure costs of the shops etc, and the balance is writen off over 10 years through the P&L. However it was also used to reduce the debt as I said above.
-
Most of it was used to reduce the debt in 2006. The net debt fell from £23m to £5.9m. It increased again to £16.5m in 2007.
-
Am I making it up? No, we do have to pay for the players. The half year accounts that Frankie refers to shows that we needed transfer money in to be able to pay for the £10.5m that we had spent on players. The quote about the budget was said many years ago when Rangers economic outlook was totally different from today's. I'm sure they still do budget to have no European run. The only problem is that the budget shows a £14m loss. Don't know how much money we made from Europe.
-
It doesn't because it doesn't take account of the purchaes at the beginning of the season. Only a small proportion of that would have been through the P&L account, so the chances are that debt was a lot higher.

Was he unfit for Villa's game at the weekend? I know he didn't play.
-
The Hutton and Sebo cash was needed to pay for last season's transfers. The JJB cash and season ticket cash is needed to pay for the ongoing running costs of the club, including the players' wages. I presume that any profit from the UEFA cup run was used buying Lafferty, Miller, Velicka and Bougherra . We then have a £12m hole by getting knocked out of Europe, which the sale of Cuellar would have partly met, so goodness knows where the cash for Mendes, Edu and Davis has come from.

418 is in the top tier. No way to the bottom tier. Here's a link to their plan if you want to go to it. http://www.celticfc.net/NetFrame_Client/1_0_0/Pages/DisplayImage.aspx?resourceID=698496a3-4017-479a-a8d8-59a8f055eadd

Agree with all of that, unfortunately.

I really don't think Papac is a good centre half, mate. I've never seen him play well there. Not too convinced about Lafferty playing up himself, but never seen him play there so can't really comment. Beasley looks better on the left than the right IMO. I would go: McGregor Broadfoot Bougherra Weir Papac Whittaker/Novo Davis Ferguson Mendes Beasley Cousin Or if going 4-4-2, bringing in Miller for Davis. Not too happy with Broadfoot or Weir being there, but think that they are probably the best in their position. Can't bring in Edu or Aaron as I don't know anything about them. I'm assuming that Cousin was at his best and not being tempremental.

In that case,

Contracts tend not to be based on "reasonableness". Too messy, as one person's expectations can be different from another's.
-
Would such a clause include the payment terms? I would have thought it unlikely and would expect for the clause to be activated the full amount would be payable. Why then is only half the Cuellar fee payable now and half in 12 months? Very suspicious.
-
The question was about Reclaim Rangers and not you, but Damien has given the current position anyway.
-
If Boyd continues to play as he has been, he'll be nowhere near the team.
-
Could be Carlisle or Chelsea.....it's not the piggery...only kidding that it is the view from there

Is it a real collar or just a design on the top?
-
The fact that the defender was wearing green and grey may have influenced the ref more.

Steve McClaren's Ridiculous Fake Dutch Accent
Bluedell replied to Beattie's topic in General Football Chat
WTF? What a dickhead. -
Just seen the penalty claim. Unbelievable that it wasn't given.
-
Would you say it was a pen? And did McGeady deserve a second yellow?
-
Agreed. I wrote off to Bain to complain about it.
-
I would say Hullo Hullo was "hullo hullo how do you do we are the boys in royal blue", and the song you are referring to is the TBB, otherwise confusion creeps in.

Deserved MOTM. Made a big difference and alowed Thomson to play better. A lot more encouraging.
