  1. I heard a few weeks ago from a friend who's father is high up in the Glasgow Police that at the start of the season past, Boyd and Gow were caught with some "substances" on a night out - Boyd apologised to Walter and Ally, however for whatever reason Gow wouldn't and this is why he has been dumped in the reserves. This is seemingly well known within the force, but for legal reasons i couldn't comment.
  2. Just signed for Hibs in my Football Manager game in 2010 for 1.1M - looks a good player!
  3. I withdraw the above then, however the Nike Brand still sells better than Umbro. Anyone had the Email with the Nintendo Wii "are the people" picture? The adidas strip design in that is the dogs b*llocks
  4. Plus, for the 6million which has been spent already, i would quite readily have kept the guys we have here and saved the money for a good attacking midfielder......i hope im proved wrong
  5. As a season ticket holder for the last 5 years, the signings so far do absolutley nothing for me. Besides that waste of space Miller, Velicka may not be bad - as a squad player - but why are we buying a guy in Lafferty who has only scored something like 11 goals in 50 games?.....and for 3Million!! I know he's a rangers man, but at the level of Burnley, if he's worth that he should be scoring at least 1 in 2 games. As was mentioned earlier in the post - we need QUALITY, we have a pretty big squad, so numbers are not a problem, but as it was plain to see for anyone in Manchester, we had no invention, no quality. We cant just fight and drag our way through another season, as its getting boring:sleep:
  6. I really wish for the day we go back to a big-time Kit manufacturer (Nike/Adidas) who could actually market our brand properly instead of trying to do it ourselves. Look at the big European Clubs, who manufactures their kit? We are in a position now to enhance our sales after Manchester. Its the only way you get shelf space in other countries in the World and get our brand across. Saying that, i was in Sau Paulo in December and we were there alongside the 'Tic and .......Hearts!!!
  7. No wonder - look at his scoring rate = shocking
  8. I quite believe that a lot of the scum down there were english as it was a passport to create trouble in a footballing city which most of them hate, however i walked through the tunnel where Boots' window was getting kicked in and ive never been so gutted in my life. It was a total embaressment. Manchester was just a yobs playground and i hope i never see the likes again.
  9. Barry Ferguson - Prime example The fact of the matter is that playing 1 up front is fine for the harder games, but when you start playing like that you get out of the habbit of creating chances and scoring goals - we have been totally out of ideas on this front and slowly getting worse over the last month. Davis is an example of this rot, great when he came but offering nothing now. Wednesday night was the same, we didnt know or look like scoring goals and looked like the team Fiorentina etc said we were. League is over
  10. Hello folks, I imagine for those of you still in work (like myself) the excitement is building. Just wondering if anyone has an idea of where to head for parking/park and ride in manchester or put me in the right direction to this info? Thanks folks:rfc:
  11. Got ours earlier, both my brother and me - also 2 friends got theirs on CCS
  12. "thumbs up Fonz" from Happy Days with Carlos Cueller's Face on, dont know about the slogan tho....maybe "we want curly hair too"
  13. Totally agree - Fantittytastic!
  14. Didnt check passports in Florence like they said they would, would simply take too much time. However, i definately wouldn't buy tickets from ebay or any other touts, its an effin joke. Dont mean to be nasty but i got mine through ticking European box at start of the season with season ticket....only way of almost guaranteeing u one mate.
  15. Aww Gav, are you kidding? I would guess that he has a big say in Dundee Utd's decision, he's just like the rest of them! What goes around comes around though my old mother used to say! BTW Gav, got our Final tickets today!
  16. I still cant believe how shocking the Naismith incident was. The guy stamped on his knee, and nothing being done about it!
  17. Hahahaha, have just read the whole script, looks like a literary genius has written it. I especially love how they hold back their undying love for Bears everywhere in this line - "May you all rot in hell, may you all continue following your club and I hope, really I do, that the plane crashes and burns to the ground." Fantastic and Merry Xmas to you too!
  18. You have to laugh at these idiots - as i always say they will forever have a chip on their shoulder. I however would love police to investigate whoever put this online as it suggests that Rangers (and/or fans) are Nazi's. (badge)
  19. Never, what is he going to give us that we dont already have? I think we have to realise now that we should be looking at players who will take us to a better standard of football and not sideways or backwards
  20. Do them for everything we can get, i know its stooping to their level, but they get away with too much. I was at the piggery for the motherwell game a few weekends ago with 4 of my motherwell supporting friends and on the way out the ground, one of the unwashed felt the need to come up and crack my mate (the smallest of us 5 may i add) across the head with a bag, quoting "you were winding me up all game" Rats, the lot of them:uzi:
  21. Think al stay for a week! http://www.cityguide.travel-guides.com/city/47/nightlife/Europe/Florence.html
  22. I agree with you on the Hemdani point, he would have been the "breaker" in midfield we missed through Thomsons absence. I really hope Fergie can pull something out the bag in the next few games tho, he was anonymous last night but is playing with fragments of bone floating about his ankle and is receiving cortizone (sp?) injections before each game. Him and McGregor must have played nearly 60 games this season, i hope this is not the time that injuries catch up on them.
  23. Does Thomson miss the next ****s game also then? Thats a big loss, we missed him last night
