I have known several people who went there to teach English. None of them had a positive experience. The Saudis do not seem to be popular with other Middle Eastern states also. I taught some on a pre-university session; they all had a sense of entitlement to good grades though they were mostly lazy. I have never had any problems with students from the other Gulf States.

In a back three their priority would not be defending; effectively they would be free to do what they do best. Two of our 3 centre backs should be able to cover when they are up the field. At time of writing doesn't look like Beale is thinking of moving them on.

I think Kamara's problems may have stemmed from the time he got that racial nonsense from the Czech guy. Before that I can remember him as a skilful midfielder and one particular European goal stands out.

I think we now have the personnel to go 3 at the back, leaving Tav and Barasic as wing backs with 2 of the centre backs covering when they venture forward.
