Bresciano, Loovens, Davis and a right winger and we'll be looking good. Can't see the Bresciano deal happening though. He's been in Italy nearly a decade and the step down in weather, culture (fraid so) and quality of league is likely to scupper the deal.

The trouble was Murray didn't back PLG. How come WAlter got �£10m in his first season and PLG got about �£4m? By the way, Clement and Sionko would be great right about now.

I'm not saying it's his fault that he's pish, it's simply a case of talent. You either have it or you don't. He has brought nothing to the team since a headed goal in Lyon. He hasn't played wide left at all this season and guess what? He still looks a dud. I'm sick of triers.

How do i get a ticket for this Q&A? 1. Did you deliberately not play Carlos because (a) you thought we could probably get by without him leading to (b) Now we haven't it's helpful him not being cup tied for Europe? 2. Why play 1 up front against that mob, they were poor and our negativity fed their confidence. Particularly when you spent all sumer signing strikers that haven't improved the team. From the bench anyway. 3. Why 4 minutes for Lafferty and Boyd AFTER they scored??? The goal was coming for half an hour and as per, no changes were forthcoming. 4. Why is our scouting network so poor that we can't find a decent midfielder or two before the most important games of our season? Please no excuses about them being too expensive, wages too high etc. There are other players out there except the ones on Match of the Day and in Willie McKay's Phonebook. I could go on but I may have been ejected after question 1.......

I think my main gripe these days is the fact, as alluded to by SA, that Walter never seems to field a team that appears to be anything like what any reasonably well versed follower of football would consider to be his "best" 11. Week in week out I attended games last season hoping "maybe this week I'll see who I want and we'll get some decent attacking football." And what did we get? Lumbering duds. Every fucking week. Dailly is a poor excuse for a footballer as is McCulloch as is Miller as is Adam. This unswerving loyalty to "experience" is indeed utterly laughable. I thought that air horn last night was strangely fitting. The wheezing, half-comic, half-highly frustrating noise seemed a perfect accompaniment to watching what we have become under Walter. A fucking bad joke. -

Just listened to pre-Kaunas interview with WS on BBC. Chick asked him if getting into the Champions league this term will affect what he can spend. I'm sure he's said before that it wouldn't, but today he said "Obviously getting into the Champion League frees up a level of finance above what we would normally have, but there is still a bit left." Looks like a calculated gamble then re midfielders. To be honest I think we'd all like to wait and spend as much as we can on quality. I just wonder if we have enough to get by Aalborg.
