  1. Yeah the main issue has definitely been Whyte. Paul Murray said the Blue Knights were certainly going to pay the £500k but they needed guarantees that Whyte's shares would be delivered. When no guarantees were forthcoming what was the point of paying the £500k? Should also be noted that Bill Miller was awarded preferred bidder status without paying up.
  2. I saw Grant from STV saying similar. But then would it not be down to the 6 man SPL board to decide on our re-entry and their penalties are unspecified so could be even more draconian than the FFP proposals put forward by the SPL?
  3. Can you briefly summarise his theory so I dont have to blacken my eyes with his rabid ramblings?
  4. At Ibrox on Saturday they also mentioned an 11th May deadline for transferring assets to the Miller newco. Anyone any idea why there is a deadline of that date? Is it specified by Miller himself or necessity?
  5. To tie them into a deal with the Blue Knights so they cant screw them over at the last minute by signing up with Ng or another party.
  6. Really struggling to understand why anyone would prefer Kennedy to own the club. His quote today was: "I don't really want to buy the club" So why on earth, considering we know as much about his bid as we do about the others, would people vote for him?
  7. Well the meeting was on Saturday and its now Monday so I'd guess £11k might have been the total at that point in time. 4000 scarves means £30k will be given to the club (site states £7.50 profit per scarf) which wouldnt have been otherwise so I dont understand why the negativity towards a couple of guys who off their arses to do something.
  8. The part about having to be out of administration by the Scottish Cup Final is NOT true. It's the first game of next season. Small point but I'd like to think the people at the club knew this fact.
  9. If the Daily Mail story today is true then £18m of the £24m from Ticketus has been given to Lloyds bank and we will never see it again. So Whyte has no way of paying any tax bill. Whyte may have no way of paying ANY bill. Liabilities of potential £50m EBT bill, £9m unpaid tax, £24 to Ticketus.....is there a way out of all this??
  10. When Cunningham brought the Catholic church into this with her "sign of the cross" comments I was delighted. It highlighted its not all a one way street, and say what you like about them, but they certainly stick up for their flock. When she mentioned that I knew they wouldnt sit back and take it so would want the law changed. We just need to be careful what it is changed too.
  11. The Nithsdale RSC chaired the meeting so I'd agree the statement was produced by the Nithsdale with the general backing of the other groups.
  12. At the meeting those at the top table revealed that the match commander at Ibrox Andrew Bates said specifically that any reference to "fenians" or the pope are illegal. I expected any press release to state this specifically. What we are left with now are half the support thinking its ok to sing "Super Rangers" while others will think its not. We as a support need to specify what we must sing as nobody at Rangers or the SFA or UEFA or the Police are going to do it for us. It's also ridiculous that UEFA haven't yet told Rangers specifically what we have been banned for. If its a term or a word then say so. Until we get clarity and specifics this debate will not go away.
  13. With the revelation that Kieran Brady may well be the FARE rep on both the Eindhoven games it is interesting to read the kind of company he was speaking to in early March. I wonder if they may have discussed Rangers probation period ending soon and what they could do before it ends? His new organisation is here should anyone wish to contact him with any questions. http://www.cici.org.uk/contacts.htm Also look who the 3 people involved in the story below are. Strange they all seem to be hanging out together in early March. The interview carries on in a similar vein but I am sure you can get the jist. This is the same Piara Powar whose organisation was contacted by the RST regarding racism at Parkhead to El Hadji Diouf to which they didnt receive a response. I wonder how these anti-racism groups decide what to comment on and what to ignore?
