I think he was saying that the team should have walked off the pitch, and it wasn't aimed at Kamara himself. That's certainly the way I took it.

Thank you, of course I defend a player being racially abused in this day and age my point was taking the knee has little to no effect whereas the team walking off of such a high profile match would have gained worldwide coverage and highlight the problems.

You realise you're blaming the victim here? Black player is racially abused, black player is blamed for not reacting in a fashion leatbats agrees with. That's quite the take.

If anyone is under any doubt why black footballers feel the need to keep awareness of racism high then surely last night is the

Blaming the victim? How is saying they should have walked off the pitch blaming the victim? Surely that is supporting the victim or has Scottish wokeness now turned right into wrong, genuinely confused at your response

    I can't follow this nonsense.

Great timing on your part though.

Well what good did taking the knee do? If our player was racially abused then walk off the pitch, that's making a stance and going to get a proper reaction.

What's the point in having money if any Tom, Dick or Harry can tell you how to spend it.

Surely it would be better for you to just accept that footballers have their own opinions about how to act.

So all the rich black players are just virtue signalling then, they are privelaged and rich and therefore took the opportunity that everyone has no matter their colour or ethnicity to become the best that they can be so what more equality do they want or need? It's not a colour issue with the UK its a societal issue.

  5. Taking the knee was meant as a show of solidarity for everyone to support equality and take a stand, or knee in this case, against racism. BLM however are a politically motivated movement and as such have no place in football or sport in general.

Footballers and Athletes in general are paid very well for their services and Black and Ethnic minorities have done very well in both of these sports as well as the majority of sports in the UK, surely a better way for these players to help would be to donate some of their huge salaries to helping disadvantaged youngsters instead of a meaningless gesture that is nothing more than virtue signalling nonsense which pamders to a Marxist political agenda.

  6. I have deliberately avoided tempting fate and as an older bear have waited patiently until I can say we are the champions, today after the game I finally said it to my Mrs, my boys and my extended family, we have waited so long and went from the lowest league with no money to rightful champions again, never in my time have I ever felt as proud and happy to see us back where we belong
